Theme
- Choose a theme and the food will follow! My favorite way to
develop a menu is to come up with some kind of “theme” for the
party. Parties celebrating the seasons bring obvious options for
themes. For instance spring dictates a theme of renewal complete
with fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers of the season.
Welcoming
autumn conjures up warm associations of baked apples, pumpkin soup,
or hot dogs at a bonfire. Consider even bringing summer into the
cold, long winter months by having an indoor luau or “beach” party.
